Delivery and returns
On this page we would like to tell you more about the delivery and return conditions of RacebaanExpert. We do our best to describe all information below as clearly as possible, if you still have a question, you can of course always contact our customer service department.
All items ordered and paid for before 3:00 PM will be shipped the same day from Monday to Friday. All orders, except letter mail, are sent via PostNL or DHL and provided with a Track & Trace number. As soon as the package is scanned by PostNL or DHL, you will receive a message about this in the e-mail address you provided. You can always find the Track & Trace code in your account. You have not received an e-mail and you still want to track your shipment, that is possible. Copy the Track & Trace number and go to the PostNL website: www.tracktrace.nl or on the website of DHL.
All items ordered and paid for after 3:00 PM will be shipped the next working day. We are closed on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, but you can still order. These orders will then be shipped on the next working day.
When you place an order with RacebaanExpert under €50, we will ask for a contribution to the shipping costs. If you order more than €50, the shipping is free. We therefore advise you to order all items in one order. It is not possible to combine different orders in our system, we look at the value per order and determine how much the shipping costs are for that order.
The shipping costs for delivery in the Netherlands under €50 are €4.99.
The shipping costs for delivery in Belgium under €50 are €5.99.
PostNL has stopped the second delivery attempt:
PostNL has stopped the second delivery attempt. Of the packages where the first delivery attempt fails (95% of the packages are delivered on the first delivery attempt), the second delivery attempt also fails. If your package cannot be delivered in the first delivery attempt, it will be taken to the nearest collection point by PostNL.
You can then pick up your package within 1 week at this PostNL location. If the package is not collected, PostNL will return the package to us. If you want us to send it again, this is possible, but we will charge the shipping costs of resending to you.
Shipment not arrived or damaged?
This is very annoying, we understand that. Please always contact our customer service department directly so that we can solve this for you. Despite the fact that we do everything we can to prevent this, something can always go wrong, but we will always ensure that there is a suitable solution for you.
Right of withdrawal/Return shipment:
If you are not satisfied with your order, you can return your order (see the step-by-step plan below). You have a cooling-off period of 14 days to return the product without giving reasons, starting on the day of receipt of the product. you have 14 days from the moment of the return notification to return the product. The product can only be returned unused and, if possible, in its original packaging.
For returning your order, the return costs are for your account. We will credit the purchase amount to you within 14 days of receipt.
If you want to return a product or the entire order, this is of course no problem. Please note, however, that you handle the product and packaging with care. The starting point is that you only inspect the product and that this inspection may not go beyond what you could do in a physical store. Of course we can no longer sell used items. Returns are assessed by RacebaanExpert upon receipt and if it appears that the value of the product has decreased, this decrease in value of the product will be discounted from the purchase value of the product. Such in the opinion of RacebaanExpert. You will of course receive written notification of this.
Step-by-step plan to return:
When you have created an account:
- Log in and go to My Account;
- Then go to My order;
- Click View;
- At the bottom of the page you will see Return items. Click on this;
- Choose the number of products to be returned;
- Indicate the reason for the return, the return action and a short response. We use your information to improve any points and can then better understand your return;
- Click Send at the bottom;
- After receiving your return request, you will receive further information from us.
If you have not created an account:
- Send an e-mail to our Customer Service with your return request;
- Please include the following information in your email:
- First and last name
- The order number (you can find it on the invoice) or the invoice number.
- Indicate exactly what you want to return and the reason. We use this information to improve any points and can then better understand your return.
- Your telephone number so that we can contact you if there are any questions.
- After receiving your e-mail you will receive further information from us.
You can also use the European model withdrawal form to cancel the purchase within 14 days.
We aim to refund the purchase amount, including any shipping costs paid by you (only when returning the entire shipment; the shipping costs are not reimbursed for partial returns), within 3 working days after receipt and approval of the returned item. . If, for whatever reason, this does not work, you can assume that the amount will in any case be refunded within 14 days following the day on which you report the cancellation (provided that the product has been received by us in good order). The refund will be made in the same way as you paid for the order.
