The Carrera Digital 132 system is very popular with older children, adults and hobbyists. The system is based on digital technology with cars on a scale of 1:32 and track sections on a scale of 1:24. Unique to the Digital 132 is that you can race with no less than 6 cars at the same time, you can also add a Ghost Car and/or Safety car. Digital 132 also offers the possibility to control the cars wirelessly, by means of a remote control, with the 2.4 GHz wireless system. Other unique options are the ability to change lanes, you can set the speed yourself and cars have lightning so you can also hold a night race. In short, the Digital 132 is not only popular but also certainly in a class of its own in the world of slotcar racing.
